RecoveryZONE Fitness Center

RecoveryZONE Fitness Center in Klamath Falls, Oregon is equipped with leading-brand exercise equipment to help you build stronger muscles, as well as a therapy pool to help your muscles heal after a workout.

Gym members get access to the pool and all exercise equipment, including free weights, Swiss balls, treadmills, ellipticals, arm bikes, recumbent bikes, stationary bikes, free motion equipment, a Smith machine, and NuStep® machines.

Our advanced equipment is only a small part of your fitness. You get lots of hands-on attention from certified personal trainers and fitness instructors as well as access to our physical therapists for questions.

To make sure you achieve your fitness goals, we offer a special Lifestyle Medical Fitness program along with sports training and water aerobics. Not only do we offer the most comprehensive and effective exercise programs in Klamath Falls, we design a personalized program to match your metabolism and fitness level, so you do not over or under train. RecoveryZONE Fitness Center also offers one-on-one training and group sessions.

Lifestyle Fitness Program

The Lifestyle Fitness Program is designed to challenge your body as your fitness level changes. One of our providers will create a custom fitness program just for you to meet your needs. 

You will then be evaluated every 6 weeks and your customized program will be modified to continue to challenge your body.

We can also give you consistent and accurate percent body fat results using the Body Metrix System. You will get accurate BMI results, your suggested caloric need and hydration level, recommended weight loss, and a customized report so you can track your progress, such as fat loss and muscle gain. We offer several different program options or you can create your own.

Sports Training

Sports therapy involves the management and care of people injured through sports. Sports therapists study human anatomy, physiology, and psychology. Not only does RecoveryZONE specialize in hands-on sports therapy, we also offer sports fitness by certified trainers. A physical therapist can help you maximize your athletic performance and prevent injury.

Water Aerobics

Our 25’ x 32’ therapeutic pool allows various levels of aquatic therapy for rehabilitation and exercise. Exercising in the water provides many benefits that exercising on land cannot. First, buoyancy of the water provides an unloading of the weight-bearing joints of the spine, knee, and hips. This is helpful for those who cannot tolerate exercising on land due to joint pain. Water also provides assistance and resistance while exercising so that one can progress through various levels of activity while increasing strength.

Aquatic therapy can help you build strength in weak and injured muscles. Initially exercises can be performed in the direction of assistance. When strength progresses, the exercise can be modified to occur in a non-resistant pattern, and finally against the resistance of the water. This unique feature is difficult to achieve while exercising on land.

Aquatic therapy also can help promote healing to the site of injury. By exercising in warm water, your blood vessels dilate, which increases blood flow and the delivery of oxygen to the injury to help heal damaged tissue.

Pool Classes and Schedule

The pool is open Monday through Thursday from 7 am – 6:30 pm, Friday from 7 am – 7:15 pm, and Saturday from noon – 1:30 pm. We maintain our pool temperature at a constant temperature of 86°-88°.

Open swim is available during non-water aerobics class time.

Family swim is on Saturdays from noon to 1:30 pm. This time is designated for members with kids of any age to come swim as a family. Parents must supervise their children at all times. This is not a class and all members are welcome to use the pool at this time. Just be aware that children might be using the pool at the same time.

Water aerobic classes are free to gym members. There is a $10 drop-in fee for non-members. We also offer a punch card of 10 swims/aerobic classes for $90 (card expires 45 days from purchase).

Water Aerobics

This 60-minute class tones, trims, and increases cardio-respiratory endurance. Enjoy the balance and stability of the water while participating in this class.

  • Monday: 8:15 - 9:15 am / 4:15 - 5:15 pm / 5:20 - 6:20 pm
  • Tuesday: 9:15 - 10:15 am / 4:15 - 5:15 pm
  • Wednesday: 9:15 - 10:15 am / 4:15 - 5:15 pm / 5:20 - 6:20 pm
  • Thursday: 4:15 - 5:15 pm
  • Friday: 4:15 - 5:15 pm / 5:30 - 7 pm (water volleyball)

Aqua Boot Camp

This 60-minute boot camp-style class is more than just your average workout! Expect to get your heart rate up and have a great time.

  • Tuesday: 12 - 1 pm / 2:15 - 3:15 pm
  • Thursday: 12 - 1 pm / 2:15 - 3:15 pm

Aqua Arthritis Relief

This 60-minute class uses simple moves to stretch and relieve arthritic pain and soreness. Great for sore joints!

  • Tuesday: 1 - 2 pm / 3:15 - 4:15 pm
  • Thursday: 1 - 2 pm / 3:15 - 4:15 pm
